A birth chart has a lot of moving parts, and most guides throw all of them at you at once. For money, you can ignore nearly all of it. Four things carry the weight: two areas of life, and two planets.
Before that, one piece of vocabulary. A house is just an area of life. A chart is cut into twelve of them, and each one covers a different subject. Nothing mystical about the word. It is a filing system.
What you earn and keep
The second house is the money area. It covers your income, your savings, the things you own, and the skills you feel able to charge for. It is where this app gets its name.
It also covers value itself, which is why what you are worth and what you feel you are worth end up filed in the same place. People with a difficult second house often earn perfectly well and still undercharge for years.

Money you share
The eighth house covers anything where the money is not only yours. A loan, tax, a joint account, an investment you made with someone else, an inheritance.
The subject underneath it is not really money. It is what you owe and who you trust. This is the part of your chart that reacts when you have to depend on another person, or when someone depends on you.

What you want
Venus is the planet of taste. It describes what catches your attention and what feels worth paying for.
You see Venus in the gap between wanting something and deciding it is worth the price. Wanting happens in a second. Deciding takes longer, and Venus describes what usually wins.

What slows you down
Saturn is the planet of limits and patience. It shows where you move slowly, where you hold back, and where a boring habit you repeat every month does more for you than any bold move.
Saturn has a cost. It can also make not having enough feel permanent, so you never spend and never move. Both sides show up in the same placement.

The four at a glance
| PART | WHAT IT COVERS |
|---|---|
| Ⅱ Second house | Income, savings, possessions, what you can charge for, and what counts as enough. |
| Ⅸ Eighth house | Debt, tax, joint accounts, invested capital, and anything where ownership is shared. |
| ♀ Venus | Taste, desire, and what feels worth the price. |
| ♄ Saturn | Limits, patience, repetition, and the structure that survives a bad month. |
How to use this
Open the You tab in House II and look at where those four sit in your own chart. Then read the guides for the parts that sound like you. Most people recognise one immediately.
None of it tells you what to buy. It tells you which of your own reactions to watch when you are about to.
